Bhujung Hydropower (P.) Ltd is the hydropower development company founded in 2072 Jestha as a private company and Later on 2078 Falgun, it was converted to Public Company. The central office of company is located at Tokha -10, Kathmandu. The company has developed Upper Midim Hydropower Project (UMHPP) , a run-of-river type project with the licensed capacity of 7.5 MW . The project is located in Kwhlosothar Rural Municipality, Lamjung district of Nepal lies in Gandaki province .
The Mathillo Midim Hydroelectric Project, a 7.5 MW run-of-river initiative, is located in the pristine hills of Bhujung, Lamjung. Designed to generate clean, sustainable energy, the project integrates advanced engineering with a strong commitment to environmental conservation. This flagship project is set to produce 42.167 GWh annually, contributing significantly to Nepal’s growing energy demand.It is strategically positioned to enhance grid reliability while ensuring minimal ecological impact, aligning with global and local environmental standards.
